How will my course work?

During your learning programme, you will develop skills in the workplace and the Training School, evidencing 20% 'off the job' learning. This is dedicated time where you focus on developing your basic knowledge and behaviours, gaining 'high end' industry skills and techniques.

Your apprenticeship programme will be assessed at End Point Assessment, once you have completed a portfolio of observed assessments. The End Point Assessment is observed independently by the awarding body and graded at either a pass or distinction. Upon achievement, you will have completed your Apprenticeship programme.

Currently (February 2021), there is no further progression as a government funded apprentice however, MJTS will deliver tailored courses to develop your skills. These can be found in the Private Courses section of the website.
